Ronnie Scott

Deputy Director Ronnie Scott is a native South Carolinian, and alumni of Benedict  College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Deputy Scott is a retired Marine Corp veteran and has over 30 years in project management, budgeting and planning, quality assurance, and management resolution. With experiences working abroad in both the military and private sector, Deputy Scott is a well-traveled diverse leader, trainer, and mentor. He remains rooted in his commitment to serving youth, overseas and in the  United States. For over 25-years Deputy Scott continues to show he’s professionally,  spiritually, and physically invested in community mentorship, youth leadership development, and youth activities. Deputy Scott’s inspiration, knowledge, skills,  professionalism, leadership, and diverse experiences are a perfect match to the SC  Youth Challenge Academy with the mission to empower and prepare youth to develop personal, academic and career success through education, mentoring, and training during the quasi-military residential program. Deputy Scott is a pillar of honor and integrity in developing and empowering staff while embracing our cadets and partnerships as we soar in becoming the number one youth-serving organization in the state.
